Several platform reviews in the archive originated as promotional or affiliate material under the publication’s previous ownership. Those items are labelled, excluded from editorial homepage feeds and held for re-reporting. Their original scores and superlatives are not displayed.
Separation
Advertisers have no access to editorial planning, no review of copy before publication and no influence over conclusions. Where a commercial relationship exists with a platform under review, the review says so at the top of the page.
