Scope of a review

Each review records, where a primary source exists:

  • Platform name, official URL and operating entity
  • Platform type and centralised or decentralised status
  • Custody model and key control
  • Jurisdiction, availability restrictions and regulatory status
  • Supported assets and trading products
  • Fees, with the source of each fee figure
  • Deposit, withdrawal and KYC requirements
  • Security features, proof-of-reserves material and insurance claims
  • Incident history
  • Provider-reported claims, held separately from verified facts

Evidence grades

  • Verified — confirmed against a primary source we reviewed and cite.
  • Provider-reported — stated by the platform, not independently confirmed.
  • Unverified — no acceptable source found; the field stays empty.

Ratings and rankings

We publish a rating only when every scored dimension is verified, current and applied identically across the compared set. No such dataset exists today, so all ratings are withheld and no platform is ranked. Legacy scores inherited from the previous archive are hidden rather than displayed.

Commercial relationships

Sponsorship or affiliate arrangements never determine conclusions and are disclosed on the item itself. Reviews with an inherited commercial origin are labelled as such.

Re-verification

Platform facts decay. A review shows its last verification date; where a review has never been verified under this methodology, the page states that plainly.
