Reporting an error
Send the page address, the disputed statement and any supporting source. We do not publish a contact address we cannot verify; until an editorial mailbox is confirmed by the publisher, correction requests should be routed through the publication’s owner.
How we correct
- Factual error — corrected in place with a dated correction note.
- Clarification — added where wording was accurate but capable of misreading.
- Update — appended when new facts change an item’s conclusion.
- Retraction — used when a claim cannot be supported; the item stays online, labelled.
What we never do
We do not silently edit substantive claims, and we do not change publication dates to make corrected material look new.
